Do I need to already have my real estate license?

No — we're open to talking with people who are actively working toward their license as well as agents who are already licensed. We'll be upfront with you about what stage makes sense for you to join at.

What's the commission split?

This is something we discuss directly in conversation, since it can depend on experience level and the specifics of how you're working. We'll be straightforward about it rather than burying it in fine print.

Will I get training and support, or am I on my own?

Because we're a small team, support tends to be direct and hands-on rather than a formal multi-week training program. You'll have real access to ask questions and get answers — that's part of the point of joining a smaller brokerage.

Do I have to focus on residential, or can I do commercial too?

It's up to you. York CRE works across both residential and commercial transactions, and agents are free to build a practice in whichever direction interests them — or both.

What if I'm not sure real estate is right for me yet?
