In most transactions, buyer's agent compensation is paid through the sale, not directly out of your pocket — though this depends on the specific listing and any agreement we put in writing together. We'll walk through exactly how this works before you commit to anything.

How long does the buying process usually take?

It varies a lot depending on the market and what you're looking for. Once you're under contract, closing typically takes 30-45 days. The search itself can take anywhere from a few weeks to several months — we'll give you a realistic sense of timing once we understand what you're looking for.

Can you help with new construction specifically?

Yes — this is an area Carol has direct experience in through York PMC's construction consulting work. We can help you understand a builder's contract, what's standard versus upgrade, and what to look for at each stage of the build.

Do you only handle homes, or commercial property too?
